Hello, and welcome!I’m Jackie Collins and I’m a freelance animator, board artist, and illustrator in NYC. I love telling stories that are cute, sentimental, and a little bit silly. The world can get so serious at times, so being able to use my artistic skills to create even just a little bit of joy is a great privilege.Over the last few years, I've worked on everything from info and educational materials, to corporate videos, advertising, short films for distribution on YouTube Instagram and TikTok, and personalized stickers and gifs for messaging and payment platforms. My most recent gig was having the joy and privilege of working with Snowflake Films NYC as a storyboard revisionist on 'Wonder Pets: In The City' for Apple TV and Nickelodeon.Current personal projects include learning how to do scientific illustration of flora and fauna (which I'll be posting on Instagram), and "Sprigge and Sprout," which is an illustrated character-driven, allergen friendly recipe blog. Shellward Bound is an animated short series I created, designed, animated, and directed at Holler, for distribution over social media. It currently has over 10M views on YouTube, was a 2023 Webby Award Honoree in the animation category, and received a Bronze Telly Award in the same year!Shellward Bound follows the adventures of a small but determined hermit crab, as they search for the perfect shell to call home.
