Hello, and welcome!I’m Jackie Collins and I’m a freelance animator, storyboard artist, and illustrator in NYC. I love telling stories that are cute, sentimental, and a little bit silly. The world can get so serious at times, so being able to use my artistic skills to create even just a little bit of joy is a great privilege.What Have I Worked On? :
Over the last (almost)decade, I've worked on everything from info and educational materials, to corporate videos, advertising, short films for distribution on YouTube Instagram and TikTok, and personalized stickers and gifs for messaging and payment platforms. My most recent gig was having the joy and privilege of working with Snowflake Films NYC as a storyboard revisionist on 'Wonder Pets: In The City' for Apple TV and Nickelodeon. I'm also proud to be one of the handful of current stewards and featured artist kit-makers for the local community spare art fridge initiative in Astoria, run by Queens Collaborative.Anything Else? :

Outside of work, I run "Sprigge and Sprout," which is an illustrated character-driven, allergen friendly recipe blog. I'm also learning how to do scientific illustration of flora and fauna, and am opening a new shop called Disco Beetle, featuring some this new work in the form of cute stickers, totes, and prints! <3In the rare hours I'm not drawing, you can find me binging Star Trek and writing my Fan Crew story with my partner, babying my senior cat, playing way too much D&D (no such thing), stuffing my small NY apartment with more craft supplies we can't possibly fit, and taking care of the miniature jungle of plants in my window.I’m always happy to chat, so please feel free to get in touch with any business inquiries via email at:

Shellward Bound

Shellward Bound is an animated short series I created, designed, animated, and directed at Holler, for distribution over social media. It currently has over 10M views on YouTube, was a 2023 Webby Award Honoree in the animation category, and received a Bronze Telly Award in the same year!Shellward Bound follows the adventures of a small but determined hermit crab, as they search for the perfect shell to call home.
